Aggression – from a Nursing Perspective

“Mr. Bland became aggressive and abusive, demanding medication. More settled at time of report. Obs – satis. Input – satis.” The above statement is a fairly typical report of an incident of aggressive behaviour. What can be learnt from the communication? Or is he in pain? What in fact is really going on?
