Submissions Welcome
23/06/2017Nursing Praxis in New Zealand welcomes article submissions.
Our vision is to contribute to knowledge transmission and utilisation that stimulates and encourages praxis - "the action and reflection of people upon their world in order to transform it" (Friere, 1972). Our mission is to publish research, commentaries and discussion papers related to New Zealand, the Pacific Rim, and Indigenous peoples that are relevant to any aspect of nursing or healthcare practice that has the potential to influence nursing practice.
Reasons to publish in Nursing Praxis in New Zealand include:
Article abstracts are translated into te reo Māori acknowledging the critical role of Māori language in health care in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Nursing Praxis in New Zealand is indexed in CINAHL (Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature).
Articles are quality assured through blind peer review processes.
Articles will be published early online on the Praxis website as soon as they have been accepted.
There is no publication charge.
