What is patient education?  How do nurses teach?  What is the meaning of patient education in the secondary care setting to people who have a chronic illness such as asthma?  What is the meaning of patient education to nurses in the secondary care setting?  How do the political, economic, social and cultural contexts of secondary care and nursing education influence education of people with a chronic illness?
