Aggression – from a Nursing Perspective

Abstract:

“Mr. Bland became aggressive and abusive, demanding medication.  More settled at time of report. Obs – satis. Input – satis.” The above statement is a fairly typical report of an incident of aggressive behaviour.  What can be learnt from the communication?  Or is he in pain?  What in fact is really going on?  Chances are the reporter doesn’t know either.  Continued…
