Abstract
Cot death (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) – the term strikes fear in the hearts of many N.Z. parents.  In this article a paediatric nurse reports on the recent SIDS conference in London, discussing factors thought to contribute to the incidence of SIDS and describing strategies for reducing this tragic event.
